Balsa wood is light and soft but very strong. Can be easily cut and shaped with hand tools, sanding blocks and X-Acto® style blades. It is used for any type of model building, especially aircraft and architectural or engineering models.

Available in individual sheets of 100mm (wide) x 1000mm (lenght) and thicknesses between 1mm and 5mm.
